The survey report of Sambhal Shahi Mosque will be presented in court today, there is a claim of finding Hindu symbols.

The report of the survey conducted on Sambhal's Shahi Jama Masjid will be presented in Chandausi court today (29 November). Given this, security has been tightened around Chandausi Court. A large number of police forces have been deployed around the premises, while the court is being monitored with drone cameras. On November 19, the District Judge Senior Division ordered a survey of Shahi Jama Masjid and appointed advocate Ramesh Singh Raghav as Advocate Commissioner.

 

Meanwhile, many types of claims have also come up regarding the survey. According to sources, it is being said that many Hindu symbols have been found in the mosque in the survey. It is claimed that the mosque has pillars in the form of columns in the Dwar Pal style. At the same time, it has been said that there are lotus flowers and other paintings on the pillars. According to sources, these important symbols have been mentioned in the report.

 

Claims of finding these symbols in the report

 

1- It is claimed that the pillars on the western gate of the mosque are made in the form of columns and the shape of lotus flower is made on them. There is a painting below and in the middle of the lotus flower on the pillars.

 

2- There is a curved entrance above these two pillars, which resembles the Toran pillar style.

 

3- There are 2 more pillars near these two pillars which are of Dwarpal style.

 

4- All these pillars, columns, and entrances present on the western gate are painted green.

 

5- There is a big courtyard inside the mosque in which there is a washroom. The Hindu side called this washroom a pond. The washroom was also vacated during the survey.

 

6- A banyan tree was found in this courtyard, which was identified during the survey itself and the Hindu side had described it as a temple and a symbol of faith during the survey.

 

7- A well was also found near the western gate of the mosque during the survey, which has now been covered. During the survey, both the parties had accepted that worship was performed here at one time.

 

8- Around 50 "niches" have been found on the outer and inner sides of the mosque and the Hindu side claimed during the survey that idols were kept in them.

 

9- Apart from this, the survey has found the shape of 4 urns and one broken arrow on the main dome of the mosque. Many thick pillars have been found on the walls of the mosque and the shape of flowers and paintings are also displayed on them.

 

10- During the survey, a long chain was found hanging under the dome inside the original premises of the mosque, and in the survey, the Hindu side described it as a temple chain in which bells were tied.

 

11- The minarets of the mosque are made of chhatridaar artwork, which is described as Rajput style.

 

12- During the survey inside the mosque, a brown inscription was found on which it is written that it was built on the orders of Babur by his courtier Mir Beg in 933 Hijri.

 

13- The basement inside the mosque was also opened during the survey in which two pillars of the modern era were found on the walls.

 

14- During the survey, the measurement work could not be done due to the opposition of the Muslim side.

 

15- Apart from the western part, the survey of other outer parts of the mosque was also not done due to violence, which includes the eastern part towards the market, and the northern part with closed basements near the mound.

 

16- During the survey, many iron rods were also found in the courtyard, which is used for setting up tents and for programs in the courtyard of the mosque.

 

17- Persian letters have been written on the main wall of the mosque.

 

18- The main dome of the mosque is brown from the inside and there are many writings in Urdu and Persian words on and near the dome the Hindu side alleges that all the writings were done during the conversion of the temple into a mosque.

 

19- During the survey, an ASI board was also found on the southern side of the mosque premises, which says that the mosque is the property of ASI and tampering with it will attract a fine.
