Manoj Kumar Last Rites: Emotional tribute paid to Manoj Kumar, Amitabh-Prem Chopra shared golden memories

Veteran Hindi cinema actor Manoj Kumar has merged into the five elements. 'Bharat Kumar' was cremated with state honors today at Pawan Hans crematorium in Mumbai. During this, many stars were present at the crematorium and paid an emotional tribute to 'Bharat Kumar'. Many stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Prem Chopra, Abhishek Bachchan, Salim Khan, and Anu Malik attended Manoj's last journey. During this, they also remembered Manoj with moist eyes.

 

Amitabh Bachchan

 

Hindi cinema superstar Amitabh Bachchan along with his son Abhishek Bachchan reached Pawan Hans crematorium in Mumbai to attend Manoj Kumar's last rites.

 

Prem Chopra

 

Remembering Manoj, Prem Chopra said that we were together from the beginning, and it has been a wonderful journey. Everyone has benefited from working with him, I have also benefited from him. He was my very, very good friend. We did the film 'Shaheed' together, which is a hit film till date.

 

Anu Malik

 

Composer-singer Anu Malik said, 'We should take inspiration from Manoj Kumar sahab's films, his songs and his direction. I am very emotional, like everyone is, the whole country is very sad that an artist has gone away from us who will never come back to this world.'

 

Zayed Khan

 

Zayed Khan said, 'He was one of the first leading actors and superstars of our country. He has left a legacy. This legacy tells how a human being should be and how he should conduct himself in adverse circumstances.'

 

Vindu Dara Singh

 

Vindu Dara Singh said, 'We all have come here. His family is very close to us. He has gone, but he will always live in our hearts. He was a great person.'

 

Raza Murad

 

While giving a final farewell to Manoj Kumar, Raza Murad said that it is a loss not only for the film industry but for the entire country. He was a filmmaker who instilled a sense of patriotism in everyone.

 

Rajpal

 

On the demise of Manoj Kumar, actor Rajpal Yadav said, 'He is the Vishwa Kala Ratna of India. He is Bharat Ratna. I salute him. He is the Ratna of our Bollywood and will always remain a Ratna.'

 

Subhash Ghai

 

After attending the funeral of actor Manoj 'Bharat' Kumar, filmmaker Subhash Ghai said, 'He will always be a legend, an inspiration for all of us. He displayed the spirit of patriotism through his films and inspired people by showing what India is and what India should be like.'
