The situation in the country remains extremely frightening due to Corona's uncontrollable pace and its new cases crossing three and a half lakhs daily. The dangerous second wave of Corona is proving to be extremely life-threatening, in which more than three and a half thousand people are dying every day. In the meantime, Vijay Raghavan, the top scientific advisor of the Central Government, warned of the third wave on Wednesday and said that it will come.

Raghavan said that there are a lot of cases of virus infection, so it cannot be said at this time when the third wave of corona will come. But it will come, so we should prepare for the new wave. During the health ministry press briefing, he said that the third wave of Corona cannot be avoided.

 

 

He said that the vaccine will need to be updated so that this new corona strain can be combated. He hoped that we should prepare for a new wave. He further said that along with upgrading the vaccine, surveillance will also be required.

 

Animals are not spreading corona in humans

 

 

On the other hand, Dr. V.K. Paul, Member, NITI Aayog, said that the disease is not spread through animals, but its infection is spreading from human to human.

 

 

Whereas Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Health, Luv Agarwal made it clear that Covid assistance is being sent from abroad, it is being monitored at the Ministry level. He further said that at the inter-ministerial level, it includes some Joint Secretary Offices, officials of the Ministry of External Affairs, officers of the Customs, and officers of the Civil Aviation Department.

 

 

Regarding vaccination, he said that 6 lakh 71 thousand people between the age of 18 to 44 years have been given vaccine doses. Kendra Sarkar further informed that more than one lakh patients are being treated in 12 states including Maharashtra, Karnataka, Kerala, and Uttar Pradesh.
