SP MP Ramji Lal Suman's statement on the rape incident, which made PDA an issue, has once again come into the headlines. In a village in the police station area, on the night of April 17, the father of a girl from the Dalit community had gone to a feast. Omveer Lodhi, a resident of the village, picked up the girl sleeping outside the house at 1.30 in the night and raped her five hundred meters away. The police, who arrived in the morning, identified him from the CCTV. Politics heated up after the incident of the rape of the girl.

 

On Saturday, BJP MP Rajkumar Chahar, MLA Bhagwan Singh Kushwaha, Congress District President Ramnath Singh Sirkwar along with Bhim Army, Royal Valmiki Army and BKU officials met the victim's family. As the matter escalated, the police became active and arrested the accused from Fatehpur Sikri.

On Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock, SP's Rajya Sabha member Ramjilal Suman arrived to meet the victim's family with party leaders. After talking to the victim's father and Baba in private for 20 minutes, he attacked the BJP government of the state in a conversation with journalists, saying that somewhere Dalits' wedding processions are being stopped and somewhere Ambedkar's statue is being broken. People of the Valmiki community are being tortured. Rape cases have increased rapidly.

 

He said this on Akhilesh's arrival.

 

On the question of whether the SP national president will come to meet the victim's family, he said, "Do you talk like a child? This is not such a big issue. Whatever help we can give to this family, we will do it, there is no need for the national president. We will definitely help, we have told the family to stay in touch with us."
