America has said in a report that China has threatened its officials. He has warned American officials not to say anything about India-China relations. According to the Pentagon report, China wants to reduce the tension on the border with India as well. The purpose of China is clearly understood behind this. China does not want the closeness between India and America to increase.

 

China is apprehensive that if the closeness between India and America increases, then India may cut off its relations with China. If this happens, China's trade will be affected the most. Referring to the India-China border, the Pentagon wrote in a report that in 2020 there was a violent clash between India and China in the Galvan Valley. Despite this, China deployed troops in the Line of Actual Control (LAC). He is still building infrastructure there. Military-level talks were held between the two countries several times but no result came out of it.

In April-May 2020, China gathered troops in the border areas of Eastern Ladakh on the pretext of exercise. After this, there were incidents of infiltration in many places. The Government of India had also deployed troops equal to that of China in this area. The situation became so bad that after more than 4 decades, bullets were fired at LAC. Meanwhile, there was a violent clash between the soldiers of India and China in the Galvan Valley on the night of 15 June. Chinese soldiers attacked Indian soldiers with rods and sticks wrapped in the barbed wire during the night.

 

20 soldiers of India were martyred in the Galvan Valley conflict. The government of India had shared its formal information. China, on the other hand, has never said how many of its soldiers were killed.

 

Last year, Australia's news website 'The Klaxon' said in one of its investigative reports – 38 Chinese soldiers were killed in a violent clash between the soldiers of the two countries in eastern Ladakh.

 

A few days after this revelation, the American magazine 'The News Week' also published a report on the incident. In this report, it was claimed that 60 Chinese soldiers were killed in that violent clash in Galvan Valley.

 

China is India's largest trading partner

China is India's largest trading partner. In 2021, India's trade with China was Rs 9.3 lakh crore. India imported 7.2 lakh crore rupees from China during this period, that is, India bought goods worth so much money from China. During this period, India exported only 2 lakh crore rupees to China, which means it sold goods worth this much to China.

 

India exports these things to China

Iron Ore, Petroleum Fuel, Organic Chemicals, Refined Copper, and Cotton Yarn. Fish, seafood, black pepper, vegetable oil, fat, etc. are prominent in food items. That's why China is afraid that if India reduces its relations with it, then it will suffer a lot in trade.
