A conspiracy is being hatched from eight cities in Canada to fuel the Khalistani campaign in Punjab. Some Gurudwaras of Canada are also being used for this. Intelligence agencies have warned the Punjab government that the activities of Khalistan supporters and their close ones should also be monitored. Terrorists hiding abroad are also constantly trying to spoil the atmosphere in Punjab.
In the report sent to the state government, the intelligence agencies have also mentioned the Canadian city where terrorist Nijjar was recently murdered. Anti-India posters have been put up in some cities of Canada. The agencies said that terrorists and Khalistan supporters keep coming and going in the said cities. The management committees of some religious places are also helping them. The agencies have also prepared a list of such Gurudwara managers. This list has been shared with the Punjab government to keep an eye on their close relatives in India.
Intelligence agencies have also said that after Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's statement in favor of Khalistan supporters, anti-India propaganda has increased in Surrey, Brampton, and Vancouver. Agencies have informed that to give impetus to the Khalistan campaign, preparations have been started to hold a referendum again in some cities of Canada.
Apart from this, people are being misled in Canada under the guise of religion regarding the arrest of Amritpal Singh in Punjab. At the same time, according to an official of the Intelligence Wing of Punjab Police, surveillance is being started on the close relatives of the Khalistanis whose names have come up, traveling to and from eight cities in Canada.
