Turkiye Earthquake: Turkey was again shaken by two consecutive tremors, 3 were killed due to the collapse of many buildings; 213 injured

Turkiye-Syria Earthquake Once again two strong tremors of the earthquake have been felt in Turkiye-Syria. The earthquake occurred at a depth of two km (1.2 mi) from the Turkey-Syria border region. The European Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC) said a 6.4-magnitude earthquake struck on Monday, damaging several buildings and killing three people. Let us tell you that on February 6, the earthquake in Turkey and Syria created havoc, due to which thousands of people lost their lives.

 

3 killed, 213 were injured, and 32 aftershocks of the earthquake

The 6.4-magnitude earthquake has caused damage to the border areas of both Turkey and Syria, where the earthquake caused havoc on February 6 as well. The fresh tremors caused many buildings that had been damaged by the previous earthquake to collapse. This has hindered the relief work, as well as 3 people have died and 213 people have been injured. So far 32 aftershocks have occurred after the earthquakes.

 

Damage to many buildings, tremors in Egypt and Lebanon as well

According to Turkey's disaster agency, a magnitude 5.8 earthquake occurred in Samandag and a magnitude 6.4 earthquake in Antakya in southern Hatay province. People are still in panic due to the strong earthquake that occurred in the past. Immediately after the 6.4 earthquakes today, people came out of their homes and there was chaos all around. According to Reuters, its center was in the city of Antakya in Turkey and it has reported damage to many buildings. According to Reuters, the quake was also felt in Egypt and Lebanon.

 

There was a severe earthquake on February 6, and thousands died

There was an earthquake in Turkey-Syria on February 6 as well, this earthquake caused great devastation in both countries. A total of more than 45000 people have died due to the earthquake so far and the figure is increasing every day. Due to the magnitude of the earthquake being 7.8, thousands of buildings collapsed and lakhs of people were trapped in it. Despite the speedy rescue operations, a large number of people lost their lives.
