Now the demand for sacking Bihar government minister Surendra Yadav has started to arise. The Agneepath scheme was launched in June last year. Recruitment will be done in all three forces under the Agneepath scheme. Under the scheme, youths in the age group of 17.5 years to 21 years would be recruited in the army for four years and 25 percent of them would be made permanent for a further 15 years and the rest would be retired by giving a fund. However, later in the Agniveer Yojana, the last age limit of the candidates was increased to 23 years.
