Ruckus is increasing on the controversial statement given by RJD leader Surendra Yadav regarding the Agniveer scheme of the army. Now the demand for sacking Bihar government minister Surendra Yadav has started to arise. After Union Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai, now former Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad has also demanded that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar sack RJD leader and minister Surendra Yadav for making objectionable remarks on army personnel.

BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad said that Nitish Kumar's minister has made a shameful and objectionable statement about the army. Does the CM of Bihar think that the country will be silent after this comment? I do not want to name the person who used offensive words for our army.

He said that such a minister has no right to continue in his post. Nitish Kumar should at least save the reputation of the army. The people of Bihar want to change in the state and they are looking toward our party. BJP will win both the Loksabha election and the Bihar election in 2025.

RJD leader Surendra Yadav made objectionable remarks about army personnel in one of his statements on Thursday. He also said that whoever gave the idea of the Agneepath scheme should be hanged. There was a lot of criticism for this statement of Surendra Yadav.

The Agneepath scheme was launched in June last year. Recruitment will be done in all three forces under the Agneepath scheme. Under the scheme, youths in the age group of 17.5 years to 21 years would be recruited in the army for four years and 25 percent of them would be made permanent for a further 15 years and the rest would be retired by giving a fund. However, later in the Agniveer Yojana, the last age limit of the candidates was increased to 23 years.
