Senior advocate Gaurav Bhatia, on behalf of the producer of the film, said in the petition that the CBFC has already approved the film 'Udaipur Files' and not releasing it is a violation of their fundamental right.
Earlier, the Delhi High Court had banned the release of the film a day before its official release date.
The producer had said that he would go to the Supreme Court.
On the decision of the Delhi High Court to ban the release of the film 'Udaipur Files', producer Amit Jani had said that he would go to the Supreme Court against this decision.
Ulema-e-Hind had filed a petition.
Actually Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind and Prashant Tandon had challenged the decision of the CBFC to give a certificate to the film in the Delhi High Court. He had argued in his petition that the release of the film would affect brotherhood and pose a danger to the public. After hearing the petition, the Delhi High Court had stayed the release of the film.
