Mumbai: Big news has come to light between the Antilia case and the recovery case in Maharashtra. Home Minister Anil Deshmukh may resign. Sources are quoting that Anil Deshmukh's resignation may be discussed in the cabinet meeting. After the meeting, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, after discussing with coalition partners, can ask Deshmukh to resign.

A decision may also be taken on setting up a committee to investigate the allegations against Home Minister Anil Deshmukh in the meeting. Former Mumbai CP Parambir Singh had made serious allegations against Home Minister Anil Deshmukh for extortion through policemen. After the allegations, the Home Minister himself has demanded a probe from CM Uddhav Thackeray. The cabinet meeting will start at 3.30 pm.

SC refuses to hear Parambir Singh's petition

The Supreme Court has refused to hear the petition of IPS Param Bir Singh seeking a CBI inquiry against Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh. The court has asked the former Mumbai police commissioner to file a petition in the Bombay High Court. The judges, in their written order, have accepted that the matter is serious. But he did not give any direction to the High Court on his behalf. The only note noted in the order is that the petitioner's lawyer wants a hearing in the High Court tomorrow. He will apply for this in the High Court.

Home Ministry can be snatched from Deshmukh - sources

The cabinet may expand in Maharashtra in the first week of April. In this expansion, the Home Ministry can be withdrawn from Anil Deshmukh. With this, some other Congress MLAs can be included in the minister. After Parambir Singh's letter, there is increasing pressure on the Uddhav government and especially the NCP to remove Deshmukh from the Home Ministry.

Deshmukh has been accused of recovery of 100 crores through waje

In this battle of accusations and counter-allegations, the allegations of former Mumbai commissioner Parambir Singh are seen against the Uddhav government. Parambir alleges that Deshmukh and Waje met in mid-February. Middle means 15 February when Deshmukh was discharged. Parambir claims that a meeting was also held in late February. Meaning when the period of home isolation of Deshmukh ends. After the letter bomb of Parambir Singh, the blast has shaken the politics of Maharashtra.
