On Monday morning, the body was to be brought to the village for the last glimpse. But his body could not reach the village till noon due to the closure of the road due to rain. After this, the last rites of the martyr were to be performed with military honors at the ancestral ghat of the village itself.

Naik Harendra Singh (35), son of Naik Harendra Singh (35), resident of Pipalsari village of Block Rikhnikhal, was posted in the 16th Garhwal Rifles.
