G20 Summit: Advisory of Delhi Metro regarding G20, Many metro station gates will remain closed from 8 to 10 September

Preparations for the G20 summit are in full swing in the national capital. Several areas of Delhi will remain closed given the tight security arrangements during the G20 summit. Along with this, a three-day public holiday has also been announced in Delhi.

 

Now important news is coming for the passengers traveling by Delhi Metro, in which it has been told that during the summit, the gates of many metro stations will remain closed for entry and exit, while the Supreme Court station of the metro will remain completely closed.

During the G-20 event, from September 8 to 10, the entry gates of all metro stations will not open for entry into the station. DCP Ram Gopal Naik said that due to G-20, the entrances of many metro stations will be closed due to security reasons on September 8, 9, and 10.

 

Gates of these metro stations will remain closed

Entrance number 1,2,3 of Khan Market metro station will remain closed.

Entrance number two of Kailash Colony metro station will remain closed.

Entrance number 1,2,3,4 of Lajpat Nagar metro station will remain closed.

Entry gates number 1 and 3 of Jangpura metro station will remain closed.

Entrance numbers 1 and 3 of Ashram Metro station will remain closed.

Barakhamba Metro Station entry gates number 1, 3, 4, 5, and 6 will remain closed.

All entry gates of Supreme Court Metro Station will remain closed.

Entry gate number 2 of Indraprastha Metro station will remain closed.

Entrances number 1 and 2 of Moti Bagh metro station will remain closed.

Entrance numbers 1, 2, and 3 of Bikaji Cama Place metro station will remain closed.

Entrance numbers 1,2 and 3 of Munirka metro station will remain closed.

Entrance numbers 1,2,3,4 and 5 of RK Puram metro station will remain closed.

Entrance number 1,2,3 of the IIT Metro station will remain closed.

Entrance numbers 1,2 and 4 of Hauz Khas metro station will remain closed.

Entrance numbers 3 and 4 of Malviya Nagar metro station will remain closed.

Entrance numbers 1 and 2 of Sadar Bazar metro station will remain closed.

Entrance numbers 1 and 2 of Palam Metro station will remain closed.

Entrance numbers 3 and 4 of Central Secretariat Metro Station will remain closed.

Entrance numbers 1 and 3 of Udyog Bhawan metro station will remain closed.

Entrance number 2 of Lok Nayak Marg metro station will remain closed.

Entrance numbers 2,3 and 4 of Mandi House metro station will remain closed.

Entrance numbers 2,3,4,5 and 6 of the ITO metro station will remain closed.

Entry gates number 1,2,4 and 5 of Delhi Gate metro station will remain closed.

At the same time, given the G-20 summit, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has opened special separate counters for the sale of tourism smart cards at 36 metro stations. So that G-20 delegations and foreign tourists wishing to visit Delhi during the conference can easily obtain smart cards.

 

This smart card will make the travel of foreign guests easier in the metro. The sale of tourist smart cards has started from the special counters of the stations from today i.e. 4th September.
