India wins the U-19 World Cup 2026 thanks to Vaibhav Suryavanshi

Vaibhav played a magnificent innings of 175 runs in the final of the Under-19 World Cup 2026 against England, leading Team India to its sixth Under-19 World Cup trophy. Due to his outstanding performance throughout the tournament, Vaibhav was awarded the Player of the Match and Player of the Tournament awards.

 

 

He thus became the first player to win both awards. He played an innings of 175 runs off 55 balls in the final match and also set the record for the second fastest century in the tournament.
