This information has been given by the ED officials after media reports that the directors of the mobile maker had fled the country after the Enforcement Directorate proceedings started.
Let us tell you that on July 5, ED raided 40 locations of Vivo company across the country. This raid was done under PMLA (Prevention of Money Laundering Act). An ED official told news agency ANI on condition of anonymity that Zhengsheng Ou and Zheng Jie were directors of GPICL, a firm linked to mobile maker Vivo and they have fled the country only last year. Let us tell you that on July 5, ED raided 44 locations across the country of smartphone maker Vivo in connection with money laundering.
CBI is also taking action against the company
Action has been taken against Vivo company for violating PMLA (Prevention of Money Laundering Act).
