The department has issued a yellow alert for the next three days. Light or moderate rain is predicted throughout the week.

Winds blew at 80-100 kmph in many areas. The minimum temperature was recorded at 29.6 degrees Celsius and humidity was 68 percent. The rain also improved the pollution level and the air quality index was recorded at 142 at 9 am, which falls in the moderate category.

During this time the maximum temperature is expected to be between 36 to 42 degree Celsius, while the minimum temperature will be between 27 to 31 degree Celsius.
