Weather Forecast: Cold will hit Delhi-NCR further, minimum temperature will fall today

These days, severe cold continues to wreak havoc across North India including Delhi-NCR. Due to snowfall in the mountains, the cold has increased in the plains. People suffering from the cold are not even getting sunlight. A cold day was recorded in many areas of the capital on Wednesday. According to the Meteorological Department, there will be a drop in minimum temperature on Thursday.

The cold wind coming from the mountains is increasing the chill even during the day. Delhi's minimum temperature was recorded at a normal level of 7.1 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature in some areas was 5 degrees. On the other hand, the maximum temperature was recorded at 15.2 degrees, which was four degrees less than normal. There was fog since morning. The sky remained cloudy, due to which even the sun did not shine well. People have to face problems due to reduced visibility.

 

 

Aya Nagar was the coldest area

The minimum temperature in Aya Nagar on Wednesday was 5 degrees Celsius, the coldest among other areas. Whereas, it was 6.4 degrees Celsius in Lodhi Road and Ridge and 7.4 degrees Celsius in the Palam area. At the same time, the maximum temperature was recorded at 15 degrees Celsius in Aya Nagar, 14.7 degrees Celsius in Lodhi Road, and 15.0 degrees Celsius in Narela. In such a situation, the feeling of cold has increased even in the afternoon.
