When the situation went out of control, the police could not control the situation. An eyewitness said, no policeman was seen at the spot. Eyewitnesses said that chaos prevailed near the temple since night. The polythene on which the devotees were sitting became slippery in the rain, due to which people started falling. During this time, many devotees collided with two trucks loaded with puja material that entered there and fell.
