Western Disturbance will end today

According to meteorologists, the effect of that western disturbance will end on Friday, due to which the temperature is rising now. The temperature will start falling again from Saturday. This time the phase of the cold and cold wave is expected to last till January 19. The Meteorological Department has already declared the cold of January this year as the third highest in 23 years.

may have to face a severe cold for three days

Navdeep Dahiya, the founder of Live Weather of India, has predicted that from January 16 to 18, the severe cold may have to be faced in three days. He tweeted that he had never seen such a low-temperature forecast before. This time the minimum temperature in the plains can reach minus four degrees. The Meteorological Department and Skymet Weather disagreed with Dahiya's forecast.

Zero-degree temperatures in Churu and Sikar

Skymet Weather's Vice President (Meteorology and Climate Change) Mahesh Palawat told that the coldness of snowfall on the mountains along with the north-westerly wind will shiver North India, but the minus temperature is expected to go only in Churu and Sikar of Rajasthan. Fatehpur (Sikar) and Churu recorded a minimum temperature of minus 1.8 and 1.5 degrees Celsius, respectively, on January 5.

Severe cold wave may continue in Delhi

Palawat said that on January 16-17, a severe cold wave may prevail in Delhi and the minimum temperature may drop by two to four degrees Celsius. He said that the intensity of the new cold wave would be higher, but its duration would be shorter than the previous cold wave, as another western disturbance would become active from January 19. This time the difference between the two Western Disturbances is less.

The Meteorological Department has forecast a drop of three to five degrees Celsius in the minimum temperature in various parts of northwest India from Saturday. On January 15, 16, and 17, severe cold wave conditions are likely to prevail in some parts of North Rajasthan, while isolated areas of Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, and Haryana are likely to prevail.
