It is getting hot in North India due to which people are worried. The Meteorological Department has predicted heat and heat to continue in many states of the country even today. The outbreak of heat is increasing continuously due to hot winds with scorching sun. During the next 24 hours, heatwave is forecast at isolated places over Delhi-NCR, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat, West Uttar Pradesh. In these areas, the weather will remain clear for the next 3 to 4 days and there will be strong sunlight. During this, there is a possibility of increase in temperature due to which heat wave conditions may persist.
Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has predicted thunderstorms and thunderstorms in one area of Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh during the next 5 days from today. Along with this, the Meteorological Department has predicted dusty strong winds at isolated places in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, North Rajasthan and West Uttar Pradesh today and tomorrow. According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain and thundershower at many places in Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal and Odisha during the next 4 days.
Light rain expected in Delhi NCR for next two days
On the other hand, Delhi may receive the first shower of the season on Wednesday between strong sunlight and heat. Due to the effect of Western Disturbance, light rain may occur for two days (Wednesday and Thursday). This can provide partial relief from the heat. However, the heat wave will continue on Tuesday as well.
Hope to get relief from heat in Himachal
In Himachal Pradesh, the Meteorological Department has issued a warning of thunderstorm and lightning in five districts (Chamba, Kangra, Mandi, Kullu and Kinnaur) on Tuesday. Due to the active western disturbance, there is a possibility of rain in many parts of the state. Wheat harvest may be affected. There is a risk of damage to the fruit crop due to storm.
Dust storm likely in Punjab
After continuous heat wave in Punjab, dust storm will occur in many parts of the state on Tuesday. Rainfall is expected at some places. This will bring down the temperature.
Thunderstorm likely to occur in Uttarakhand
Weather may change in Uttarakhand from Wednesday. Thunderstorms and hail may occur at isolated places in the mountainous areas. Whereas, there is a possibility of thunderstorms in the plains. According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain in many areas of Uttar Pradesh between April 21 and 23.
