According to the Meteorological Department, there is no hope of relief for three days. After this, there may be partial relief from the heat due to strong winds due to the activity of Western Disturbance. However, there is no chance of rain this week either.
The Meteorological Department has forecast that the sky will be clear on Monday. There is a possibility of a heatwave in some places. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be 42 and 23 degrees Celsius respectively. At the same time, according to Skymet Weather, the heatwave will last for three days from Monday to Wednesday. After this, if the Western Disturbance will be active, then it will be partly cloudy for two-three days and strong wind will also prevail. With this, there will be a partial drop in temperature and relief from the heatwave.

Due to rain in the mountains, the low-lying areas also remained cloudy and light rain was seen. According to IMD, from Monday i.e. today, April 18, there will be a change in the weather once again. The weather will remain clear throughout this week, due to which the heat can once again reach its peak. Last week, due to cloudy weather, there was a drop of one to two degrees in the temperature.
Heatwave conditions will prevail in these states
According to IMD, along with Delhi, there will be heatwaves at different places in Haryana, Punjab, and Rajasthan between April 19. In such a situation, the heatwave in Delhi NCR can disturb the people. Along with this, it has also been reported that on April 19 and 20, warmer than normal winds will blow. The temperature will also increase due to the heatwave. According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature of Delhi can once again cross 40 degrees this week. The Meteorological Department says that the temperature may increase by two to three degrees due to the heatwave. In such a situation, the maximum temperature can be 40 to 43 degrees and the minimum temperature can be from 23 to 26 degrees.

According to Skymet Weather, during the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain at a few places with one or two heavy spells is possible over Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, South Interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala. Light to moderate rain may occur at isolated places over the rest of Northeast India, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Telangana, North Interior Karnataka, and South Chhattisgarh. Light to moderate rain is possible over Western Himalayas during the next 24 to 48 hours.
