Schools and colleges closed in Raigad
Given the heavy rains, the Raigad district administration has declared a holiday for all schools and colleges on July 26. The Meteorological Department issued a 'red' alert for Raigarh district on Wednesday. Mumbai had predicted heavy to very heavy rain on Monday and issued an orange alert for six districts of Maharashtra till July 27.
Telangana is in trouble due to rain
Heavy rains lashed several parts of Telangana during the past 24 hours, leading to water-logging in some areas and blocking of road connectivity.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) center on Wednesday said in the 'Warning of heavy rainfall for the districts of Telangana' that heavy to very heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at isolated places in Karimnagar, Peddapalli and other districts from 1 am on July 25 to 8.30 am on July 26. Fear of rain from Odisha to Punjab
