Weather Update: Monsoon again active, heavy rain alert in these states, know how the weather will be in UP, Bihar, Delhi

Due to the low pressure over the Bay of Bengal, heavy rain is forecast in various states from North India to South India. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rain in parts of West Bengal, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Vidarbha, Konkan, Madhya Maharashtra, Gujarat, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttarakhand, Karnataka on Monday.

 

According to the IMD, so far 31 percent of the country has received above normal rainfall, 36 percent of normal, and 33 percent of below normal rainfall. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for the next 4 days because of heavy rains in many areas of Uttarakhand. The Monsoon Trough is now passing through Naliya, Ahmedabad, Akola, and Ramagundam, the center of depression over South Odisha, and then moving east-southeastwards across East Central Bay of Bengal.

According to the Meteorological Department, today, September 12, the minimum temperature in Delhi will be 27 degrees and the maximum temperature will be 36 degrees. Today (Monday) in the capital Delhi, it will be cloudy even after light. It may rain in some places.

 

Yellow alert for rain in Uttarakhand

 

Because of heavy rains for the coming four days in Uttarakhand, a yellow alert has been issued. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rain in five districts including Dehradun.

 

Heavy rain warning in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh

 

Due to the formation of a low-pressure area in the Bay of Bengal, it is raining in the areas of Madhya Pradesh adjoining Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh. On September 12, the new weather system being built near Odisha will become active in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, due to its effect, there is a possibility of rain in both states on Monday.

 

How will the weather be in Uttar Pradesh?

 

According to the Meteorological Department, the monsoon has weakened in Uttar Pradesh. There is no chance of heavy rain in the coming days as well. The effect of low pressure formed in the Bay of Bengal can be seen in the eastern part of UP and light to moderate rain may occur.

 

Yellow alert in half of Karnataka

 

It is raining intermittently in Bengaluru, the capital of Karnataka. IMD has issued a yellow alert in other parts of the state except for South Karnataka. It is a matter of relief for Bangalore that there is no chance of rain for the next 4 days. Moderate to heavy rain may occur over Maharashtra, the Konkan region, and Goa for the next few days.
