A source said that the Prime Minister will reach Kannur by a special plane. From there, he will conduct an aerial survey of the landslide-affected areas by helicopter. After this, he will visit some relief camps, where more than 10,000 people are currently homeless.
Rahul Gandhi demands to declare Wayanad landslide as a national disaster
Meanwhile, opposition leader Rahul Gandhi said in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday - 'I request the Central Government to give a comprehensive rehabilitation package for Wayanad. What did the student say in his letter?
In the letter written in the school diary, the student said- 'I am Ryan. My beloved Wayanad was hit by a major landslide, causing massive destruction. I am proud and happy to see you rescuing people trapped under the debris.' The child has mentioned a video in which soldiers were seen eating biscuits to satiate their hunger while building a bridge in an area devastated by landslides. The student wrote in the letter that this scene impressed me a lot and I want to join the army one day and protect the country.

In response to the letter, the army said- 'Dear Master Ryan, your touching words have touched our hearts. We aim to be a ray of hope in times of adversity and your letter confirms this. Heroes like you inspire us to give our best. We eagerly await the day when you will wear the uniform and stand with us. Together we will make our country proud. Thank you young warrior for your courage and inspiration.
