Rohit-Gill made a strong partnership of 121 runs for the first wicket and from here the Pakistan team went on the back foot.
2. Rahul-Kohli's blockbuster show
After losing the wickets of Rohit and Shubman Gill, the Indian team needed a partnership. In such a situation, the pair of KL Rahul and Virat Kohli took up the responsibility of sailing the team on the reserve day. Rahul, who returned to international cricket after about five months, started slowly but made a big splash after settling at the crease.
