Weather Update: Snowy winds made Delhi-NCR feel cold, IMD alerted about snowfall on mountains

Snowfall continues in the hilly areas. In such a situation, the effect of this snowfall is also seen in the plains. Cold winds are blowing in many states of North India since this morning. Due to this, there is a feeling of cold. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of light snowfall and rain in the hilly areas.

 

Cold winds made Delhi-NCR feel cold

Cold winds are blowing in Delhi-NCR since morning. Due to this, there is a feeling of cold in the weather here. More drop in temperature has been recorded on Monday as compared to Sunday. However, today the weather will be clear in Delhi-NCR. The national capital recorded a minimum temperature of 9.8 degrees Celsius on Sunday, a notch below normal.

 

The sky will be clear in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar

At the same time, cold winds have increased the difficulties of the people in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. The Meteorological Department says that due to cold winds, a slight drop in temperature can be recorded. Apart from this, strong winds have changed the weather pattern in Bihar as well. The maximum temperature has dropped in many cities including the state capital Patna and Gaya. Let us inform you that the Patna Meteorological Center issued an alert for strong wind on 13 February.

 

Snowfall continues in hilly areas

Whereas, the weather is dry in Uttarakhand today. However, sunshine is also blooming in most areas. But the cold winds have suddenly increased the cold. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of snowfall in some places of Uttarakhand. Apart from this, there is a possibility of snowfall and rain in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu, and Kashmir.

 

How will be the weather in these states

The Meteorological Department said that there is a possibility of snowfall in some places in Arunachal Pradesh during the next five days. At the same time, there is a possibility of rain in Assam and Nagaland during the next 24 hours. According to the Meteorological Department, strong winds with a speed of 35 km are expected in northwest India during the next three days. At the same time, in the rest of the states of the country, the weather will remain clear for the next five days.
