Tillu Tajpuriya: Eight Tihar Jail personnel suspended in Tillu murder case, CCTV footage leak to be probed

In the Tillu Tajpuria murder case, the prison administration has suspended eight prison personnel on charges of negligence, while writing a letter to the commandant there to take action against nine personnel of the Tamil Nadu Police. Apart from this, a charge sheet has been filed against all these nine police personnel under departmental action. The jail officer said that after being found guilty in the departmental inquiry, an FIR can be lodged against them.

 

Jail officials said that the negligence of two assistant superintendents, one head warder, and four warders of jail number eight-nine has come to the fore. Investigation revealed that these people were not present there during the incident. All of them have been suspended. Along with this, a departmental inquiry is being done.

 

Consideration of giving materials other than poles to control prisoners

Officials said that the Tamil Nadu Police and Warder, Head Warder, posted in the security of the jail, have only a stick. In such a situation, now the jail administration is considering that the security personnel should have something other than sticks so that they can control the prisoners.

The jail administration is upset due to the leaking of the video of the Tillu murder case. She will get the video leaked investigated. On behalf of the jail administration, a letter will be written to the chief of Delhi Police so that Delhi Police can find out the person who leaked the footage. During the investigation of the case, the footage of the jail is also available to the Delhi Police. In such a situation, efforts are now being made to find out whether the footage has been leaked from the jail or the Delhi Police.
