Cold has knocked in many states of the country. Cold winds have started blowing since morning. People have started feeling the need to even get blankets from now on. The effect of snowfall on the mountains is visible in the plains. There is a drop in morning and evening temperatures. At the same time, cold and rain have been predicted in many states. There is also a drop in temperature in the capital Delhi.

 

With increasing cold in Delhi-NCR, air pollution also increased

With the arrival of winter in the country's capital Delhi and its surrounding area, there is a continuous increase in air pollution. According to the latest data from the System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting and Research (SAFAR), the air quality in many areas of Delhi is continuously deteriorating and the air is becoming poisonous. At the same time, the index has also reached the critical category and the AQI is in the very poor category.

 

Rain alert for two days in these states

According to the Meteorological Department, due to the pressure building in the Bay of Bengal after Cyclone Sitarangi, the weather conditions in the southeastern states may worsen. According to the forecast, continuous rain may occur over Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Himachal Pradesh from October 31 to November 1.

 

Chance of rain here today

Monsoon has left most of the states of the country but it is still raining in the south and eastern areas. According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), rain is forecast in Andhra Pradesh, Andaman-Nicobar, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Yanam, and Kerala for four days from today. On the other hand, it will rain in Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, and Nagaland today.

 

Dry weather in UP-Bihar

Like Delhi, the weather will remain dry in most states including UP, and Bihar. In the coming days, there is a possibility of increasing cold in UP. The temperature is seen fluctuating due to the north-westerly wind.
