Weather Update Today. Tuesday morning started with severe cold and fog in many districts of North India, including the national capital. The morning temperature in Delhi was recorded at 8 degrees Celsius. The morning temperature in Lucknow was 13.8 degrees.

 

According to the Meteorological Department, today the maximum temperature in Delhi is expected to be 24 degrees and the minimum temperature is expected to be 6 degrees. At the same time, from 13 to 15 December, the maximum temperature can be around 23 degrees and the minimum temperature can be around 6-7 degrees.

 

There will be snowfall in these areas of Himachal

Talking about hilly areas, today rain and snowfall are expected in many districts of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. According to Meteorological Department Center Shimla, the weather is expected to remain clear in Himachal from 13 to 17 December. There is a possibility of rain and snowfall in the Shimla, Solan, Sirmaur, Mandi, Kullu, Chamba, Kinnaur, and Lahaul-Spiti districts today.

 

Meteorological Department Director Surendra Paul said that the western disturbance is not very active, as a result, its effect will be seen only in high-altitude areas. He said that this would cause light snowfall on the mountains. Due to this cold will show its effect in other areas of the state.

 

How will be the weather in MP-Chhattisgarh?

A continuous decline in temperature is being recorded in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. According to the Meteorological Department, the effect of western disturbance is visible in Madhya Pradesh. Apart from this, due to the wind blowing from the northern side, cold is being felt in the state. According to the Meteorological Department, cold and dry winds will blow throughout the day in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.

 

The temperature will drop in Bihar

Talking about Bihar, meteorologist SK Patel said that the average maximum temperature of the state is likely to be between 24-26 and the minimum temperature is likely to be between 11-15. After a week, due to the activation of western disturbance, there is a possibility of an increase in cold with temperature difference from the west. During this period the weather will remain dry with sunshine during the day.

 

Regarding Jharkhand, the Meteorological Center warned that the minimum temperature in Ranchi is likely to reach 8-9 degrees Celsius in the next five days. The main reason for the rapid change in weather is the stagnation of Typhoon Michong.

 

How will the weather be in South India?

Talking about South India, there is a possibility of rain in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Kerala today. Moderate to heavy rain is expected in areas like Thrissur, Mamallapuram, Udupi, and Madurai.
