Delhi Pollution: Before Diwali, breathing problem persists in the capital, AQI crosses 300; toxic foam visible in Yamuna

Delhiites are facing breathing problems. The AQI of many areas of the capital has been recorded above 300. According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the AQI in the national capital is in the very poor category. Due to the increase in pollution, people are experiencing irritation in their eyes and difficulty breathing. The fireworks on Diwali day can make the air suffocate.

 

According to the data of the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), this morning the Air Quality Index (AQI) in Anand Vihar was recorded at 351, Bawan at 317, Narela at 302, Burari at 292, Dwarka at 275, Rohini at 292.

 

Climate may reach a severe category on Diwali.

 

Weather experts say that this time Diwali is in October. There has not been a single day of rain in this month. The weather conditions are unfavorable, so people may be forced to breathe in severe category air on Diwali day this time. On Tuesday, AQI was recorded above 300 in eight areas. Among these, Mundka recorded the highest air index of 325. At the same time, AQI was above 200 in 25 areas.

 

Wind may reach severe category by Friday.

 

According to the Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology (IITM), on Tuesday, the winds blew from south-east to east. During this time the wind speed was 8 to 10 kilometers per hour. On Wednesday, the winds are expected to blow from north to south-east. The wind speed will be 6 to 10 kilometers per hour. On Thursday, the winds will blow from the north-west. The wind speed is expected to be 8 to 16 kilometers per hour. At the same time, on Friday, the winds are expected to blow from northwest to south-east direction. The wind speed will be 6 to 16 kilometers per hour.

 

It is getting cold in the morning and evening, heat is bothering during the day.

 

Mild cold is being felt in the capital in the morning and evening. On the other hand, the sun is causing trouble in the afternoon. In such a situation, the weather may change after Diwali. According to the Meteorological Department, the cold winds coming from the mountains will cause a big drop in temperature. This will make the nights even colder, which will cause a feeling of good cold.
