Heavy rain is expected in parts of Uttarakhand, UP, Bihar, Jharkhand, MP, Chhattisgarh, and Odisha today.

In Himachal Pradesh, the weather will be clear and sunny in most areas on Friday. There is a possibility of rain at some places in the state.
According to the Meteorological Department, along with South India, there may be heavy rains in many states of West Bengal-Sikkim and Northeast India. The IMD also said that rain activity will remain low over Northwest and Central India till next week.
Heavy rain alert in Uttarakhand
