Only 103 companies of central forces will be deployed in urban areas, while 37 companies will be deployed in rural areas. All these will be accompanied by 5000 state police personnel.

At the same time, 1500 police will be deployed for rural areas. Howrah city will have 99 quick response teams, 16 radio flying squads, and 40 mobile vans. There will be 35 quick response teams and 15 response teams for the rural area. To monitor the situation insensitive booths, 3 drones have been deployed in the city and one drone in rural.
At the same time, the police administration has identified some areas where there is a possibility of disturbances. In such a situation, strictness will be increased in those areas. Explain that the number of booths in 9 centers of the district will be 3124, number of candidates 93, voter number 2262017, polling staff 14996, and reservist officer 670.
