Virat Kohli is always compared with Sachin Tendulkar. Sachin Tendulkar has made many records in his name in cricket and it is believed that Virat Kohli can surpass him. In terms of many records, Virat Kohli has even surpassed Sachin Tendulkar. In ODIs, Sachin has 49 centuries in his name and Kohli has 43 centuries in his name. Kohli is 33 years old and it is believed that he can leave behind Sachin in this matter as well.
Now former India coach Anshuman Gaekwad has shown tremendous faith in Virat Kohli and said that the 33-year-old can play 200 Tests for India and match Sachin's record. Not only this, he believes that he can probably break this record, which is probably not likely to be broken. Anshuman while talking to Network 18 said that Kohli has played 100 Test matches and he is playing continuously now. The biggest difference is the experience that Kohli has gained after playing 100 Test matches.
Anshuman further said that as long as Virat Kohli is fit, no one can match him and he is very careful about his fitness. I wouldn't be surprised if he plays 200 Test matches for India on the strength of his fitness because he plays matches continuously. In the next seven to eight years, he can reach close to 200 Test matches. I am sure he will be fit and play for the next 10 years. He said that this is going to be very beneficial for Indian cricket. Kohli is not only performing and leading from the front but the experience he has gained as a captain and player is a big deal. Kohli never gives up and has a positive mindset.
