Washington, ANI. All the countries including India have put their full strength in defeating the corona virus. There is no stage of community transmission in India yet. Meanwhile, Dr. Michael J. Ryan, director of the World Health Organization (WHO), has said that the future impact of the corona virus (COVID19) will be determined by the actions of countries with large populations like India. He said, 'India is a country with a large population like China. The far-reaching consequences of the corona virus will depend on what actions countries with large populations take. It is very important that India continue to take tough and serious decisions at the level of public health for its people.
Ryan said that India led the world in the eradication of two silent killers - small pox and polio. India has tremendous potential, all countries have tremendous potential. When communities and societies are mobilized, any goal can be achieved. Let us tell that India fought a long battle with polio and within a few years India has become polio free.
Let us tell you that 471 cases of corona virus have been reported in India. The epidemic has just reached the second stage in India. It is our endeavor that it does not reach the third stage i.e. community transmission (where it is not known what caused the virus to be in a person). India is fighting the war with the Corona virus with full force and everyone including WHO is praising it.
So far in India, the corona virus havoc has been controlled to a large extent. No corona virus-infected cases have been reported in Delhi in the last 24 hours. Yes, the situation in Maharashtra seems to be worrying. There, the number of patients has increased to 101. According to the state health department, three new cases have been reported in Pune and one case has been confirmed in Santara. So far two people have died here. Here, in the North-East too, only one case has come up in Manipur.
If India is compared to countries like America, Europe and South Korea, the difference is clear that the speed of corona virus is very slow in India. The number of corona virus infections has reached thousands in Italy and the United States. One of the reasons for this is some tough steps taken by the Government of India. Apart from this, the state governments are also very strict in dealing with those who do not follow the rules in view of the corona virus. An FIR has been registered against hundreds of people in various states for violating the lockdown.
Meanwhile, our medical staff in the hospitals is also busy in treating the patients with full vigor. As a result, around 25 people have reached their homes from hospitals after defeating the corona virus. However, doctors and administration still say that people need to be cautious while following the guidelines.
