Union Home Minister Amit Shah is likely to visit Jammu and Kashmir this month as part of the Centre's massive outreach campaign. Officials gave this information on Tuesday. Shah will visit both the regions of Jammu and Kashmir and the visit is likely to take place between October 23 and October 25. Under this program, 70 Union Ministers are visiting the Union Territory. During his visit, Shah can visit Kashmir Valley and remote areas of Jammu and take stock of various development works. Another official said that the Home Minister is also likely to attend a high-level meeting related to law and order which will be attended by senior officers of police, administration, paramilitary forces, and the army. Several Union ministers have visited Jammu and Kashmir while many more are about to leave.
Regarding the visit of 70 Union Ministers to Jammu and Kashmir, it is said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given clear instructions to the ministers in advance that they have to go to far-flung areas and have direct contact with the public. These ministers have been given the responsibility to listen to the problems of the people there and solve them. This visit of Union Ministers started in September. It is said that during this visit, the ministers also have to check that how many development works have been completed in the center.
The Union Ministers have to make this mission success within 9 weeks. It is also being said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself can also visit Jammu and Kashmir. However, there is no official confirmation of this yet.
