Delhi Police is soon going to write a letter to Google seeking information about the IP address or location from where the document file containing the 'Toolkit' was created and uploaded to the social media platform. Delhi Police's Special Commissioner (Crime) Praveer Ranjan said on Thursday that the Delhi Police on Thursday filed an FIR in connection with the 'Toolkit' prepared by the pro-Khalistani organization and shared on Twitter by environmental activist Greta Thunberg and others. Is recorded. Police alleged that according to preliminary investigation, the purpose of this 'toolkit' was to wage a 'social, cultural and economic war against the Indian government'.
Asked whether an FIR has been filed against Greta Thunberg, Praveer Ranjan said that no one has been named in the case yet. He said a case has been registered against unknown people under criminal conspiracy, sedition, and other sections of the Indian Penal Code.
He said that Delhi Police has got a document named 'Toolkit' through an account. In it, an action plan was said to spoil the social harmony in the country. He said that in the initial investigation, this document was linked to a pro-Khalistani organization called 'Poetic Justice Foundation'.
He said that in the document on 26 January, including the violence, several steps had been taken in this document. The purpose of this 'toolkit' is to wage a 'social, cultural and economic war against the Indian government'.
The statement by the Delhi Police comes against the backdrop of several prominent celebrities, including pop singers Rihanna and Great Thanberg, supporting the protesting farmers.
