Posted on 27th May 2024 11:26 am by rohit kumar

Kolkata Knight Riders' star fast bowler Mitchell Starc has given a big hint related to his career. Starc, who is priced at Rs 24.75 crore, has hinted at retiring from the ODI format so that he can play more franchise cricket. With this, the left-arm fast bowler is confirmed to play in IPL next year.

After the match, Mitchell Starc said that he gave priority to Australia for 9 years, but now he is nearing the end of his career. Starc made a comeback to IPL this year after 2015. The left-arm fast bowler proved himself to be a big-match player and performed well in the playoffs and finals.

What did Mitchell Starc say

Mitchell Starc was adjudged Player of the Match for his brilliant performance in the IPL 2024 final. Starc bowled three overs against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, taking two wickets for 14 runs. Starc expressed hope that he would like to be a part of KKR next year.

I had a lot of fun in the IPL

Starc also said, "There is time for the next ODI World Cup." Don't know whether I will be able to continue this format till then or not. This may open doors for franchise cricket. I enjoyed this IPL season a lot. Now the T20 World Cup is coming. It is also beneficial to see the other side of being here. This is a great tournament with great players and the success is amazing.

"I don't know the schedule for next year's IPL, but as I said, I enjoyed being here so I will look into coming back next year and hopefully represent KKR again," the left-arm fast bowler promised. Do it." Mitchell Starc will soon join the Australian team to participate in the upcoming T20 World Cup.
