16 transfers were done on Saturday
On Saturday, the state government has transferred 16 senior officers. Along with this, three IAS officers have also been transferred. A total of 16 IPS officers have been transferred, including Lucknow Police Commissioner SB Shiradkar, posted for about two years, and Prayagraj Commissioner Ramit Sharma. These include many ADG and IG-level officers. Lucknow Zone ADG Amarendra Sengar has been made Police Commissioner in place of Shiradkar and Shiradkar has been made ADG Lucknow Zone in place of Sengar. Similarly, Lucknow Range IG Tarun Gaba has been made the new Police Commissioner of Prayagraj.
According to the order issued by the Police Headquarters, Ramit Sharma has been appointed ADG of Bareilly Zone. Ramit Sharma has previously been IG in Bareilly. After the formation of the Prayagraj Commissionerate from here, Ramit Sharma was made the first Police Commissioner there. He has posted there since then. At the same time, Prem Chandra Meena has been removed from the post of ADG Bareilly Zone and made ADG and CMD Police Housing Corporation. While Vinod Kumar Singh, who recently returned from central deputation, has been given the responsibility of ADG Cyber Crime. At the same time, Jayanarayan Singh has been removed from the post of ADG Railway and sent to PTC Sitapur. In his place, Prakash D, who was ADG and CMD Police Housing Corporation, has been made ADG Railway.
ADG Special Security Force LV Antony Dev Kumar has been given the responsibility of ADG CBCID. While ADG Security Raghubir Lal has been given the additional charge of ADG Special Security Force.
