'You are the first Indian on your way to ISS...', PM Modi congratulated Shubhanshu Shukla, and said- the whole of India is looking at you.

After Indian Air Force Group Captain and Astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla went on a space journey, PM Narendra Modi has wished the mission a success.

 

PM Modi wrote on X, "We welcome the successful launch of the space mission carrying astronauts from India, Hungary, Poland and the US. Indian astronaut, Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla is on his way to becoming the first Indian to go to the International Space Station. He has taken with him the wishes, hopes, and aspirations of 1.4 billion Indians. Best wishes to him and other astronauts for success."

 

President Draupadi Murmu has also posted on X and wrote, "Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla has set a new milestone in space for India. The whole country is excited and proud of an Indian's journey to the stars. He and his fellow astronauts of Axiom Mission 4 from the US, Poland, and Hungary prove that the world is truly one family - 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam'." My best wishes for the success of this mission, which reflects the enduring partnership between NASA and ISRO. Who is Shubhanshu Shukla?

 

Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla is a part of the Gaganyaan mission of the Indian Space Research Center (ISRO). This is the reason why ISRO has selected Shubhanshu for the Ax-04 mission.
