It was a matter of relief that during this time 2 lakh 11 thousand 750 infected people were cured. In this way, there was a decrease of 80,749 in the number of active cases i.e. patients undergoing treatment. Amidst the decreasing figures of corona in the country, there are still 5 states where there are more than one lakh active cases. These include Karnataka (2.93 lakh), Tamil Nadu (2.88 lakh), Maharashtra (2.16 lakh), Kerala (1.92 lakh), and Andhra Pradesh (1.43 lakh).

The month of June has brought positive changes for Maharashtra, which is most affected by Corona in the country. At the time of the first wave of corona in the state, the number of active cases i.e. the number of patients undergoing treatment was 3.01 lakh. In the second wave, this figure went up to 6.99 lakh. On the first day of June, the number of active patients in the state was only 2.30 lakh. That is, there are 23.55% fewer corona active patients in Maharashtra than at the peak of the corona epidemic.

There is a partial lockdown in 17 states and union territories of the country. That is, there are restrictions here, but there are also exemptions. These include Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Uttarakhand, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Assam, Manipur, Tripura, Andhra Pradesh, and Gujarat.

4. Uttar Pradesh

5. Rajasthan
Here on Wednesday, 1,276 people were found corona infected. 6,038 people were cured and 65 died. So far 9.42 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 9.01 lakh people have been cured, while 8,515 patients have died. Presently 32,650 patients are undergoing treatment.
6. Madhya Pradesh
On Wednesday, 991 people were found corona positive in the state. 4,113 people were cured and 45 died. So far 7.82 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, 7.56 lakh people have been cured, while 8,157 people have died. 17,136 patients are undergoing treatment.
7. Delhi
On Wednesday, 576 people were found corona positive in Delhi. 1,287 people were cured and 103 died. So far 14.27 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, 13.93 lakh people have been cured, while 24,402 patients have died. 9,364 are being treated here.
