Bangladesh batted first and scored 96 runs losing 9 wickets in 20 overs. In reply, India achieved the target by losing one wicket in 9.2 overs. Tilak Verma made an unbeaten partnership of 97 runs with captain Ruturaj Gaikwad for the second wicket.
