New Delhi, March 26 (IANS) A total of 150 candidates are in the fray for the Lok Sabha polls in Delhi, an election commission official said Wednesday.
After six candidates withdrew their nomination, the final figure stands at 150, the official said. Wednesday was the last day for withdrawing names.
Of the six candidates, five are independents while one is from the Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP).
The total nominations filed was 207. Of this figure, 51 nominations were cancelled due to ineligibility and wrong documentation during scrutiny.
The number of candidates stood at 156, of which six have withdrawn.
Lok Sabha Polls in Delhi is April 10.
