There is again an increase in the cases of corona infection in the country. In the last 24 hours, 41,576 new cases were registered in the country. 39,125 patients were cured and 491 died. This has happened after five days when more than 40 thousand new patients were identified. Earlier on August 5, 45 thousand cases had come to the fore. At the same time, the number of people recovering was also the lowest since August 3. Less than 36,552 infected were cured on 3 August.
On Thursday, there was an increase of 1,955 inactive cases. It was decreasing in the last five days. Now a total of 3.82 lakh patients are being treated. On the other hand, new cases have also increased in Kerala. Here the report of 23,500 patients came positive. 19,411 were cured and 116 died. In this way, there was an increase of 3,973 inactive cases. This is the highest in the last 8 days. Earlier on August 3, 7,899 active cases had increased.

DGCI approval for one more research on vaccine mixing
The Drug Controller General of India (DGCI) has approved the study on the mixing of Coveshield and Covaxin. The study will be conducted by the Christian Medical College, Vellore (Tamil Nadu). The study was recommended by the Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO) on July 29. Its trial will be done on 300 people. Its purpose is to find out what can be the effect of giving different vaccine doses to a person.
Restrictions like lockdown in 8 states
There are restrictions like complete lockdown in 8 states of the country. These include West Bengal, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Mizoram, Goa, and Puducherry. Strict restrictions have been imposed here as in the previous lockdown.

There is a partial lockdown in 23 states and union territories of the country. There are exemptions along with restrictions here. These include Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Kerala, Bihar, Delhi, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Uttarakhand, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Assam, Manipur, Tripura, Andhra Pradesh, and Gujarat is included.

4. Uttar Pradesh

On Wednesday, 16 people were found corona positive here. 28 patients were cured. So far, about 8.25 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, 8.14 lakh people have been cured, while 10,077 patients have died. Treatment of 194 infected is going on here.
6. Rajasthan
On Wednesday, 19 people were found corona infected here. During this 21 patients were cured. So far 9.53 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 9.44 lakh people have been cured, while 8,954 patients have died. Presently 195 patients are undergoing treatment.
7. Delhi
37 people were found corona positive in Delhi on Wednesday. During this 47 people were cured. So far 14.36 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, 14.11 lakh people have been cured, while 25,068 patients have died. 494 patients are being treated here.
