In the student parliament that went on for seven hours in Gandhi Maidan, everyone was unanimous that the main demand was to cancel the BPSC 70th Combined Preliminary Competitive Examination. Nothing less than re-examination will be discussed with the state government or BPSC.

Some candidates were pressurizing for a march to the Chief Minister's residence in the afternoon itself, but Prashant Kishore informed that the Chief Minister was in Delhi. After this, the march was postponed. Late in the evening, the police also lathi-charged the students who were moving forward by breaking the barricades at JP Golambar.

The delegation has been called at 4 pm for talks with the administration. Select the delegation. On this, teacher Ramanshu read out the letter prepared in the name of the Chief Minister and asked the candidates for their views. Everyone said in one voice that re-examination is the only option.

In the evening, the candidates left Gandhi Maidan with Prashant Kishore and gathered at JP Golambar. During this, the district and police administration officials sent the delegation for talks and asked everyone to return.

The police also stopped Prashant Kishore from moving forward. After this, Prashant Kishore said that the Chief Secretary had called the candidates for talks. If the talks do not work out, a strategy will be made for further agitation on Monday.

Candidates will be waiting for today as well.

Chief Secretary Amritlal Meena said that BPSC candidates had sent a message to meet him. They were told that there was no problem in meeting the Chief Secretary. They can come and talk whenever they want. The door of the government is open. No one has ever stopped them from meeting.

After receiving the message of the candidates, no one came to meet on Sunday. A delegation of BPSC candidates may come to meet on Monday. He said that the candidates should peacefully tell their point. They should not make wrong decisions by getting influenced by anyone.

The announcement of the district administration did not show any effect.

The group of BPSC candidates who have been on hunger strike for 10 days at the Gardnibagh Dharna Sthal gathered near the Bapu statue of Gandhi Maidan on Sunday afternoon. Seeing the candidates gathering, the district administration was making an announcement through the mike that the area around the Bapu statue site of Gandhi Maidan has been banned.

Permission to gather here has not been granted. Despite this, the enthusiasm of the candidates was at its peak. Around 1 pm, Jansuraj Party's mastermind Prashant Kishore arrived. During this, two groups clashed with each other. Prashant Kishore, teachers, and student leaders pacified them.

Police used a water cannon on protesting BPSC candidates at JP Golambhar in Gandhi Maidan.

During the water shower and lathi charge, many candidates fell on the road. One candidate fainted and was later admitted to the hospital with the help of candidates and the administration. Many candidates were injured in the lathi charge. Due to getting wet in the water shower, the candidates also had to deal with the cold.

Police lathi-charge on BPSC candidate

Despite not getting permission, the administration has started legal action in the case of the demonstration and ruckus during the student parliament of the Jansuraj Party near the Gandhi statue in Gandhi Maidan on Sunday evening.

21 people including Prashant Kishore, Jansuraj's state president Manoj Bharti have been named accused. Six-seven hundred unknown people have also been accused in the FIR lodged at Gandhi Maidan police station. District Magistrate Dr. Chandrashekhar Singh has said that strict action will be taken against them for disrupting law and order.

Congress condemns the lathi charge.

Students agitating for cancellation of the Bihar Public Service Commission examination have once again been lathi-charged. After which Congress has condemned it. Senior leader of Bihar Congress and former Legislative Councilor Premchand Mishra has said that lathi charge cannot be a solution to any problem.

He issued a statement saying that the Chief Minister of Bihar should talk to the candidates of the Bihar Public Service Commission. Using the police force is not a solution to the problem, repeated lathi charges are inappropriate.

RJD appeals

Fully supporting the demands of BPSC candidates, RJD has urged the government to give up its alleged stubbornness and conduct the preliminary examination (PT) again.

Stating on Sunday, the party's state spokesperson Chittaranjan Gagan said that Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Prasad Yadav has written two letters to the Chief Minister urging him to conduct the re-examination of BPSC 70 PT.

Chittaranjan said that RJD will not allow the future of the students to be tampered with. Candidates have never been treated in this manner before.
