It has been reduced to 9.19 lakhs from 10.17 lakhs. Meaning that there are 9 lakh 18 thousand 429 patients in the country who are undergoing treatment.
Within the last 24 hours, 59 thousand 893 people were found infected. With this, the figure of infected has increased to 66 lakh 82 thousand 73. It is a matter of relief that 56 lakh 59 thousand 110 people have been cured in these. On Monday, 75 thousand 675 patients were discharged from the hospital after recovering. 885 patients also died. This was the third consecutive day when the death toll from infection is less than 1 thousand. So far 1 lakh 3 thousand 600 patients have died.
More than 88 thousand active cases reduced in a month
If you look at the figures, in the last one month i.e. from September 4 to October 4, more than 28.77 lakh new cases have increased in the country. More than 27.91 lakh people recovered and went to their home, while 37 thousand 687 patients died. In this way, due to the high number of recovered patients, the number of active cases i.e. patients who are currently being treated, started decreasing rather than increasing.
In one month, 88 thousand 566 such active cases have been reduced. There was a time when active cases had increased to 10 lakh 18 thousand. Now it has reduced to 9.19 lakhs.

Situation of five states
1. Madhya Pradesh
On Monday, 1,460 new cases increased in the state, 2,046 people were cured and 29 patients died. With this, the number of infected has increased to 1 lakh 37 thousand 98. It is a matter of relief that 1 lakh 15 thousand 878 people have been cured in these, while 18,757 patients are still being treated. So far 2,463 people have died due to infection.
2. Rajasthan
On Monday, 2,165 new cases of infection were reported in the state and 2,090 people were discharged. 14 patients died. So far, 1 lakh 46 thousand 195 people have been infected in the state. Of these, 1 lakh 23 thousand 421 people have been cured, while 21 thousand 215 patients are still under treatment. So far 1,559 deaths have been reported from Corona.
3. Bihar
Within the last 24 hours, 907 people were found infected in the state. The good thing is that more than this, 1,565 people were cured. 9 patients died during treatment. So far, 1 lakh 88 thousand 858 people have been infected in the state. Of these, 1 lakh 76 thousand 674 people have been cured, while 11 thousand 259 patients are still being treated. So far 924 patients have died.
4. Maharashtra
On Monday, 10 thousand 244 people were found infected in the state and 12 thousand 982 patients were discharged after treatment. So far, 14 lakh 53 thousand 653 people have been infected. Of these, 2 lakh 52 thousand 277 patients are currently being treated, while 11 lakh 62 thousand 585 people have been cured.
5. Uttar Pradesh
On Sunday, 2,971 new cases were reported in the state and 4,269 people recovered and went to their homes. So far, 4 lakh 17 thousand 437 people have been infected. Of these, 45 thousand 24 patients are being treated, while 3 lakh 66 thousand 321 people have been cured. So far 6,092 patients have lost their lives.
