Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, while tweeting the cutting of an old newspaper, has asked Akhilesh Yadav, what will you say about the statement on Mulayam Singh Yadav, whom you are supporting for the post of President? Yashwant Sinha has claimed that Mulayam Singh Yadav is an ISI agent in the cutting of the newspaper tweeted by Keshav Prasad Maurya. Yashwant Sinha while talking to the media had said that Mulayam is directly involved in the increasing activities of ISI in Uttar Pradesh.
Not only this, but he had also said that he has no moral right to become Defense Minister due to his close relationship with Nepal's MP Mirza Dilshad Baig, who hosted ISI agents in Kathmandu. It is worth noting that NDA has chosen Draupadi Murmu as its candidate for the presidential election, while Yashwant Sinha has been jointly named as the presidential candidate from the opposition side.
Yashwant Sinha had said that whenever Dilshad Baig used to come to Lucknow, he used to stay at Mulayam Singh Yadav's house. Yashwant Sinha had said – the minister promoting ISI activities should sack the Prime Minister. But if the Prime Minister has closed his eyes, then I need not say anything. Yashwant Sinha had said that Nepal has emerged as a center of anti-India activities and said that the Center is fully aware of it, but did not take any steps to stop it.
What is the whole matter?
Reacting to a book by a former Intelligence Bureau official alleging that the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and some MLAs have links with Pakistan's Secret Service ISI. Chief Minister Mulayam Singh has asked whether this claim was made because of a failed raid on Nadwa Madrasa? But, when I intervened and stopped the raid, the IB officials became furious. I had also lodged an FIR against him. Regarding the book, Mulayam Singh Yadav had said that the mindset of the author was of BJP, so he made such remarks.
