According to NDTV news, this triple mutant virus has been found in Maharashtra, Delhi, and West Bengal.

 

Scientists believe that the reason for the fast-growing cases of Corona worldwide is its new variants. As much as the virus spreads, it makes many copies and has many changes.

 

What is triple mutation?

Earlier variants with double mutations were found in India, in which two different strains of Corona have been found. Now three strains of Corona have been found in the triple mutation variant found.

As of now, there are reports of corona triple mutation variants in Maharashtra, West Bengal, and Delhi.

 

Is triple mutation contagious?

Experts believe that due to mutations in the virus, cases of corona are increasing not only in India but all over the world. However, research has to be done to find out just how lethal the triple mutation variant is or how fast it spreads. Currently, genome sequencing of viruses is happening in 10 labs in India.

 

Due to double mutants, not only the cases of daily increase rapidly, but this time this virus is also affecting children.

 

Will the current vaccine work against it?

There are 2 out of three strains of triple mutations that can prove fatal. However, so far no information has been received about whether the vaccine will affect this variant. Scientists believe that this new variant can neutralize the immunity naturally formed against the corona inside the body.
