Telangana BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar has been arrested by the police. Bandi Sanjay was taken into custody by the police from his residence in Karimnagar at around 12.45 am. During this, BJP workers opposed the police.

 

Lathicharge on BJP workers

Police lathi-charged BJP workers in Jangaon. The police were taking the prisoner Sanjay to a hospital in Palakurthi for a medical examination. Then the BJP workers tried to stop the police. To control the workers, the police lathi-charged them.

 

Top leaders considering law options

On the other hand, top BJP leaders have met the detainee Sanjay. It is being told that party leaders are considering possible legal options.

BJP leader Tarun Chugh has termed the arrest of Bandi Sanjay as illegal. He said that I strongly condemn the illegal arrest of prisoner Sanjay Kumar. The police have failed to disclose the reasons for the arrest. This points to a massive abuse of power.
