While President Kovind will host a dinner in honor of future President Murmu on Sunday. The Vice President, PM, Cabinet Ministers, and all the veteran leaders of the opposition will be present on this occasion.

 

Terming education as a tool of social empowerment, Kovind has been a supporter of more active participation of women in nation-building and has been calling for creating more opportunities for the underprivileged sections of the society, especially the disabled and orphans. Referring to his simple background, Kovind had said that he grew up in a mud house in a small village and his journey to becoming the President was long.

 

This country will continue to follow the basic mantra of Justice, Liberty, Equality, and Fraternity enshrined in the Preamble of the Constitution. Along with this, describing India's diversity as its success, he said, our diversity is the core that makes us unique.
