"A team of more than five fire tenders from various city divisions have rushed to the spot. Fire control measures are being taken as a precautionary measure," a senior fire department official said. So far, there are no reports of any injuries or casualties.
The cause of the incident and the damage to the aircraft are yet to be officially confirmed. Airport authorities have begun an internal investigation while a technical team is assessing the situation.
