The issue of Tawang will echo in the winter session of the Parliament on Wednesday as well. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh held a meeting of the BJP Parliamentary Board before the proceedings began. When PM Modi entered the BJP meeting, the members of the Parliamentary Board kept welcoming him by clapping. This reception was done for the victory in Gujarat. The applause continued for about 3 minutes.
The Congress also convened a high-level meeting of opposition parties on the Indo-China border skirmish. Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge is in discussion with opposition parties to corner the government on Tawang.
Congress objected to the name of the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation in Tawang
Mallikarjun Kharge said on Tuesday that the Defense Minister should come to Parliament. Read his statement and went out. He was not even ready to discuss. It has nothing to do with the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation case. If there is any fault of ours in this, then hang us.
Kharge says that the Deputy Chairman had said that we will be given a chance to clarify, but he did not. They were not even ready to listen to us. This is not good for the country.
1. Rajnath said – Indian soldiers showed bravery
Rajnath said- On December 9, 2022, PLA Troops violated the LAC in Tawang and broke the rules. The Indian Army stopped the PLA from encroaching. He was forced to go to his post. In this incident, some soldiers from both sides also suffered injuries. None of our soldiers have died or been seriously injured. We intervened in time. Because of this, the Chinese soldiers went back.
After this, the local commander held a flag meeting with the Chinese counterpart on 11 December under the arrangement. China was forbidden from such action and asked to maintain peace. The issue was also raised at the diplomatic level. Our forces are committed to safeguarding territorial integrity. Ready to block any attempt. I am sure the House will support the valor and courage of the armed forces. This Parliament will without any doubt salute the valor, valor, and capability of the Indian Army.
2. Shah said – Rajiv Gandhi Foundation got money from China
Earlier, there was a huge uproar in Parliament over the Tawang clash. On this, Home Minister Amit Shah said outside the Parliament that China did not occupy an inch of India's land. He said that our soldiers showed bravery. Congress is behaving double. Congress did not allow Question Hour to run. We told you to answer. Despite that, they did not allow the Parliament to run.
Shah alleged that the attitude of Congress toward China is double. The question of the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation was put during Question Hour. Let me tell you that its FCRA license was canceled. The question was on this. That foundation got money from China. 1.38 crore was received. China had grabbed thousands of acres of land in 1962 during Congress rule.
Owaisi's question- If there was a clash on the 9th then why did the government not give information in the Parliament?
Asaduddin Owaisi has questioned the government in the clash in the Tawang area. He said that the skirmish between the Indo-China soldiers took place on 9 December. During this time the Parliament is going on, so why didn't the government information about it on the same day itself? After three days the media is telling us that our brave soldiers are injured.
I have full faith in the country's army, but there is weak leadership in the country. The Modi government is also afraid of taking the name of China.
Indian soldiers chased 600 Chinese soldiers in Tawang
On 9 December, 600 Chinese soldiers were trying to infiltrate to remove the Indian post in the Yangtse of Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh. When the Indian soldiers repelled, there was a clash between the two armies. Soldiers from both sides were injured in this. 6 injured soldiers of India were brought to Guwahati for treatment. Whereas Chinese soldiers have suffered more than us. Many of his soldiers have broken bones. Tawang's Youngstay is at an altitude of 17 thousand feet.
